My Story

When it came to drawing or painting actual objects,
I was always a bit, let’s say, challenged. My hands just
couldn’t move correctly and even though I would have
wonderful extravagant pictures in my head, I wasn’t able
to get them down on paper. I just kinda gave up on trying
the more artsy crafts since I wasn’t able to get them to come out right.

Abstract art was always one of my favorite sections in the art gallery.
I would think “I could probably do that”.
So , one day I tried and it seems that I was right!

I started painting in May 2019 out of my home office in
Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Uneasily starting small,
I’ve been slowly working my way up in canvas size and trying my hand
at different techniques and tools.

For me, painting is a form of therapy . Painting time is me time.
I’m able to let everything go from the day and focus on the colors
and patterns I’m trying to form. Shaping the paint to look how I want.,
watching the cells form, making sure I’ve torched all the air bubbles I can,
then stepping back to enjoy what I’ve created.

Sharing my pieces with friends and customers and seeing their eyes light up
when the canvas comes into view.

One of my traits is gift giving. If I’m able to make someone smile
with something that I’ve made with my own hands, it warms my heart.
That’s all the reason I need to continue painting.
